ASCA Data Processing

The ASCA Data Processing Center was responsible for processing low level telemetry into data products, distributing these products to principal investigators , and maintaining the ASCA archive. The ASCA mission ended in 2000, but these web pages can still be used to access information about archival data.

We maintain a set of web pages giving extensive information about each ASCA sequence, including processing, distribution and public release dates. You may also view light curves, images, and spectra for each sequence.

Frfread 4.0
The ASCA Processing Team has taken over maintenance of the ASCA telemetry to FITS converter, "frfread". We have created a significantly revised and y2k-compliant version. Note that people who use data processed at GSFC do not need to worry about this.
