Each ASCA observation is specified by an eight-digit number.
The first digit of the sequence number indicates the type of
object observed, and the second digit indicates the AO
(i.e. proposal cycle) number.
Multiple observations from the same proposal will usually have
sequence numbers which differ only in the last digit.
